Kirkhouse Cottage dates from the latter half of the 19th Century and forms the principal part of a working farm steading built on the site of a Roman encampment.

The centrally heated, generous accommodation for 5/6 people offers a spacious, well equipped and newly fitted family kitchen; and a generous main living room with open hearth and formal dining space. Upstairs, which is fully double glazed, there is a large double bedroom and a twin/kingsize bedroom, plus a study area with an additional single futon bed. There is a large private garden which leads directly onto the estate.
